Artisans de Genève has collaborated with marathon runner Eliud Kipchoge to create a highly personalized and lightweight chronograph. The watch features a custom Titalum case and a skeletonized, hand-wound movement, reflecting Kipchoge's philosophy of pushing limits and his career achievements.
The watch weighs 57 grams due to its Titalum case and skeletonized movement.
The movement was re-engineered by removing the rotor, making it hand-wound and enhancing the connection with the watch.
The dial is transparent sapphire crystal, revealing the skeletonized movement, and the bezel is also made of transparent sapphire.
Colors inspired by Kenya's flag (white, red, and green) are incorporated into the design, including the hands, sub-dials, and case finishes.
The watch features green-glowing Super-LumiNova on the sub-dials and bezel numerals for legibility.
A lightning-bolt-shaped central chronograph hand is included as a visual tribute to speed and power.
