Angelus Tinkler 1958 Steel Quarter Repeater
Angelus has reintroduced the Tinkler, a rare vintage model, as the Tinkler 1958 Steel Quarter Repeater. This new iteration features a quarter repeater complication, a prestigious but less complex chiming function, housed in a design that closely mirrors the original 1958 timepiece.
- Limited to 25 pieces
- Price: €44,900 / US$48,300 / £39,800
The watch measures 38.1mm wide, 44.7mm lug-to-lug, and 12.5mm thick, aiming to replicate the feel of a vintage timepiece.
The dial is white with a sunburst finish, featuring applied 3N gold indexes and hands, with minimal text and no overt indication of its complicated nature.
The Angelus A600 caliber is an in-house automatic movement with an integrated chiming module from Dubois-Dépraz, operating at 4Hz with 33 jewels.
The quarter repeater is activated by a large, flat button at 9 o'clock, chiming hours and then quarters with distinct sounds.
The steel model is limited to 25 pieces, while a yellow gold version is limited to 15 pieces and priced higher.
