Seiko Astron GPS Solar Dual Time Chronograph (HAB007 & HAB008)
Seiko has introduced two new Astron GPS Solar Dual Time Chronograph models, the HAB007 and HAB008, notable for being the first in the Astron collection to feature gray ceramic. These watches utilize the 5X83 solar-powered quartz caliber, which debuted in 2024, offering GPS timekeeping and dual-time functionality.

The gray ceramic is new to the Astron collection and is applied to the bezel, crown cap, and bracelet center links.
The HAB007 is presented as the full-gray version, while the HAB008 is a darker gray iteration.
These models use the 5X83 caliber, which debuted in 2024, rather than the newer 5X63 caliber introduced earlier in 2026.
The 5X83 caliber features a 6-9-12 sub-dial arrangement and measures elapsed time up to 12 hours, unlike the 5X63's 3-6-9 layout and 24-hour chronograph function.
Both calibers offer GPS connectivity for time and time zone adjustment, perpetual calendars, and an accuracy of ±15 seconds per month when not connected.
The HAB007 features a lustrous gray ceramic that contrasts with the titanium case and outer bracelet links.
The HAB008 has a super-hard coated titanium case and bracelet with an almost-black finish, paired with gray ceramic.
The HAB008's dial has blue accents that break up the monochromatic look.
