Panerai Luminor Marina PAM01707 Carbotech
Panerai has introduced the Luminor Marina PAM01707, a 44mm watch that blends vintage design elements with a high-tech Carbotech case. This composite material, made from carbon fiber and PEEK, offers lightness and corrosion resistance, while the dial features beige Super-LumiNova to mimic the aged patina of 1960s tritium markers. The watch is powered by the in-house P.9010 automatic movement with a three-day power reserve.

The Carbotech case is made from compressed carbon fiber sheets and PEEK, resulting in a material that is 64% lighter than titanium and 80% lighter than steel, with excellent corrosion resistance and a unique marbled pattern.
The dial features a sandwich construction with cut-out Arabic numerals and stick indices revealing a beige Super-LumiNova layer underneath, mimicking the warm patina of vintage tritium.
The P.9010 calibre offers a three-day power reserve, hacking and hand-winding capabilities, and a quick-set hour hand for easy time zone changes.
The watch includes both a brown calf leather strap with a DLC-coated titanium buckle and an additional black rubber strap, with a screwdriver provided for buckle swapping.
The small seconds subdial at 9 o'clock is a nod to vintage Panerai functions, originally used by commandos to verify the watch was running.
The matte black dial has stencil-style openings for the numerals and markers, revealing a luminous disc beneath for enhanced glow.
The watch weighs approximately 100 grams, including one of the straps, making it feel lighter than its substantial dimensions might suggest.
Unlike some other Luminor Marina models, the PAM01707 omits a date window for a cleaner, more symmetrical dial layout.
