Roger Dubuis has introduced the Excalibur Biretrograde Perpetual Calendar, a new model that merges the brand's signature biretrograde calendar with the Excalibur case design. This timepiece features a lavishly finished dial with mother-of-pearl inlays and an updated perpetual calendar module designed for improved reliability and haute horlogerie aesthetics.

The dial features four large inlays of "Astral Blue" mother-of-pearl on the flange, day and date scales, month disc, and moon phase indicator.
The moon phase indicator uses a laser-engraved 18k pink gold disc set against an aventurine glass backdrop.
The perpetual calendar module's racks and cams pivot in jewelled bearings, supported by dedicated bridges with polished bevels.
The "Geneva Seal" hallmark is displayed above the moon phase aperture.
The 40mm case, while downsized, retains character and features a deeply relief-engraved crown and four symmetrical correctors.
The case includes a third lug, which necessitates proprietary straps, though Roger Dubuis offers a quick-change system.
The RD850 movement is described as industrial-haute horlogerie, with machine-engraved text and hand-finished components.
The movement features an engraved ring spacer with the brand's manifesto: "This is a watch of today, inspired by but not bound to the past, which looks ahead to a future that belongs to us."
