Swedish watchmaker E.C. Andersson has introduced the Timepod, a new watch distinguished by its unique lug release system and a bevelled crystal secured by visible screws. The watch features a 39mm square case and a Miyota 9075 movement for dual-time functionality, aiming to showcase the brand's machining capabilities.

The Timepod features a unique lug release system where lugs detach via a button on the caseband, designed to inhibit debris entry while allowing service access.
A distinctive bevelled crystal is attached to the case via six visible screws, appearing to rise dramatically from the center and offering side visibility of the dial.
The watch is a two-time zone model utilizing a Miyota 9075 movement with an independently adjustable local hour hand.
The case measures 39mm by 39mm square, with an attached lug-to-lug measurement of 46.6mm, and is notably thin at 11.2mm.
Water resistance is rated to 70 meters, featuring a screw-down crown, an improvement over the brand's previous Mytilus model.
Two dial variants are offered: Burnt Umber and Bare Metal, both featuring a sandwich construction with a date aperture positioned near 6:00.
