Armin Strom has refined its Minute Repeater Resonance, now in a more wearable 42mm case that is 11.7mm thick and water-resistant to 50m. This "First Edition" features a Westminster Carillon with four hammers and gongs, a demonstration mode to chime 12:59 on demand, and the brand's signature sprung-balance resonance clutch spring system. The brand plans to produce 25 units of this "most improved product."

The watch combines a Westminster Carillon with four hammers and four gongs, and a "demonstration mode" that chimes 12:59 on demand by pushing the repeater slide.
It incorporates Armin Strom's signature sprung balances connected by a resonance clutch spring.
The case is significantly slimmer and more water-resistant than its predecessor, which measured 47.7mm in diameter and 16.1mm thick with 30m water resistance.
The sound produced is described as pleasant and audible, with a chiming cadence that allows the Westminster quarters to "breathe."
The demonstration mode is activated by pushing the repeater slide down, indicated by a small dot on the dial changing from white to red.
The Westminster carillon complication is achieved using a compact stacked hammer arrangement and a second layer to the rack, a technique also used by Christophe Claret.
