ArtyA Complexity Métiers d’Art
ArtyA has unveiled the Complexity Métiers d’Art, a new iteration of its Complexity watch that emphasizes traditional hand-finishing techniques. This edition retains the double inclined tourbillon architecture but features a dial and movement extensively reworked with hand engraving, hammering, and polishing, set against a black rhodium finish.

The watch features two inclined Cônillon tourbillons at 12 and 6 o'clock, each rotating every 30 seconds in opposite directions, linked by a differential that averages their rates.
The movement's bridges are hand shot-blasted on the upper surfaces and manually hammered on the lower surfaces, with all angles beveled and polished by hand.
The mainplate is hand perlaged around the differential, and the center bridge has a polished moulding to highlight this area.
The dial is engraved with radiating scratches of varying depths over a sandblasted base, creating a play of light.
The case is cut from a solid block of transparent synthetic sapphire or pigeon-blood ruby, featuring a triple concave form and optical domes above the tourbillons.
The case requires 120 hours of diamond machining followed by over 140 hours of polishing.
The Complexity-01 caliber was developed with high-complication movement specialist Purtec Sàrl.
