MB&F's M.A.D. Editions introduces the M.A.D.3 Vincent Calabrese, a watch that reimagines the wandering jump hours complication designed by the legendary watchmaker Vincent Calabrese. This new release is part of MB&F's initiative to offer creative watchmaking at a more accessible price point, honoring Calabrese's experimental approach and his original Baladin watch.

The M.A.D.3 is a modern reinterpretation of Vincent Calabrese's 1980s Baladin watch, which featured a unique wandering jump hours display.
Calabrese's original design aimed to make the transition between hours more fluid and emotional, unlike the abrupt jump of traditional jump hour watches.
The watch utilizes a customized La Joux-Perret G111 automatic movement with an in-house wandering jump hour module developed by MB&F.
The case, designed by Eric Giroud, maintains visual unity with previous M.A.D. Editions watches and features sapphire crystals on the front and back.
The caseback inscription reads, 'Il est assez aisé de plaire aux autres, bien plus ardu d’être fier de soi' ('It is fairly easy to please others, far more difficult to be proud of oneself').
The raspberry dial is reserved for MB&F's 'Tribe and Friends,' while the blue dial is available via a raffle.
Vincent Calabrese, co-founder of the AHCI, is celebrated for his pioneering work, including the Corum Golden Bridge.
The M.A.D.3's wandering jump hour mechanism was re-engineered from the ground up for modern production and reliability.
