Depancel Série-R Chronograph Ice Blue Limited Edition
Depancel has released a limited edition of its Série-R Chronograph, inspired by the elegant 1947 Talbot-Lago T26 car. This version features an ice-blue dial with grille-like engravings and a sunburst center, deviating from the brand's typical racing aesthetic. The watch has already sold out its 100-piece production run.

The watch's design is inspired by the 1947 Talbot-Lago T26, a car known for its flowing lines and aeronautic-inspired coachwork by Figoni & Falaschi.
The 36x40mm case features a mix of brushed and polished surfaces, with chronograph pushers and a crown on the right side, and a small limited-edition number plaque on the left.
The ice-blue dial has vertically engraved grille-like lines on the outer portion and applied hour markers with white Super-LumiNova, while the recessed center has a sunburst finish.
Sub-dials include a 30-minute counter at 3 o'clock with a dark blue outer ring, matching the central chronograph hand and sub-dial hands.
Dark blue hour-marking squares at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock and a dark blue anodized crown insert complement the perforated leather strap, which uses a second color from the Talbot-Lago T26.
The Chinese Peacock SL-4801 automatic chronograph movement features a column wheel, vertical clutch, and transversal balance bridge, operating at 28,800 vph.
