The brief

Gerald Charles has introduced three new references of its Masterlink watch, distinguished by unique hand-hammered dials. These dials, crafted from maillechort (nickel silver), are individually hammered by artisans, creating a textured surface that plays with light and shadow. The rest of the watch, including the 38mm steel case and integrated bracelet, remains unchanged from previous Masterlink models.

  • Limited edition of 25 pieces per reference
  • Water resistant to 100m
  • 50-hour power reserve
Across the sources

The dials are hand-hammered from maillechort (nickel silver) in three metallic tones: golden rose, rhodium, and golden yellow, with each strike by the artisan creating a unique, irregular pattern.

Revolution

The 38mm steel case features a blend of brushed and polished surfaces, flowing seamlessly into the integrated bracelet.

Revolution

The ultra-thin GCA1000 movement features an offset micro-rotor and a 3Hz beat rate.

Revolution

The Masterlink case design, by Gérald Genta, is noted for its asymmetry and the 'smile' curve at 6 o'clock.

Deployant

The integrated bracelet is described as a complex detail that complements the asymmetrical case.

Deployant

The watch is presented as a dialogue between engineered precision and the visible, unrepeatable mark of human craftsmanship.
