Sinn is commemorating its 65th anniversary with the 140 A S Anniversary Chronograph, a limited edition timepiece inspired by the brand's spaceflight heritage. This watch builds upon the legacy of the original Sinn 140 S, which was worn by astronaut Reinhard Furrer during the Spacelab D1 mission, by incorporating Sinn's proprietary SZ01 chronograph movement and advanced case technologies.
- Limited to 300 pieces
- Price: €5,490
The SZ01 movement features a central 60-minute stopwatch hand with a jumping minute indication for improved legibility.
A rotatable minute scale around the dial can be adjusted with the 10-o'clock crown to function as a timing bezel.
The central chronograph hands and the elapsed-hour hand in the sub-dial are accented in yellow, differentiating them from previous red accents.
The case features a mix of satin-finished and polished surfaces, enhanced with Sinn's Tegiment Technology and black DLC coating for scratch resistance.
The watch incorporates Sinn's D3-System for the crown and pushers, integrating them directly into the case to prevent dust and water ingress.
Ar-Dehumidifying Technology is included to reduce moisture inside the watch and minimize crystal fogging.
The case back is laser-engraved with a commemorative insignia of the Spacelab D1 mission.
