Audemars Piguet has launched its certified pre-owned (CPO) platform, named The Watch Keepers. This digital service acts as an intermediary for selling pre-owned Audemars Piguet watches, offering sellers fixed-price or auction options. The platform handles authentication, photography, and listing preparation, aiming to provide buyers with greater confidence in the watches' condition and specifications.
- Initially available in Switzerland and other European markets
- Eligible watches must be at least two years past original retail sale
- Each watch comes with a certificate of authenticity and a two-year warranty
The Watch Keepers platform allows sellers to choose between a fixed price or an auction format for their watches.
Audemars Piguet takes custody of the watch until it is sold, handling delivery to the buyer.
The platform currently lists 42 watches, including Royal Oaks and a Jules Audemars Equation of Time.
Details on how Audemars Piguet will monetize the service, such as commission fees, have not yet been disclosed.
