The openworked design utilizes custom bridges shaped like the Christiaan van der Klaauw logo, which represents the Sun with twelve radiating claws, forming functional parts of the movement construction.
The transparent sapphire dial allows visibility of the astronomical module's mechanical structure, with blued Roman numerals for time indication positioned between 9 and 3 o'clock.
The planetarium at 6 o'clock displays the real-time orbits of Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn around a central Sun.
The movement, calibre CKM-01, was developed with UhrTeil AG and features a free-sprung hairspring and variable-inertia balance wheel.
Finishing on the movement includes rhodium-plated star-shaped bridges with hand circular decoration and frosted star decoration, along with perlage on the main plate.
The skeletonized rotor is rose gold-plated, takes the form of the CVDK logo, and incorporates a rhodium-plated tungsten weight.
The watch is presented on an FKM sailcloth strap with a stainless-steel folding clasp bearing a platinum CVDK logo.
