Formex AirField 40mm Automatic
Formex has adapted its Field watch into a pilot's watch with the new AirField 40mm Automatic. It features a pilot-inspired dial and handset, a hardened titanium case, and the Sellita SW200-2 Power+ movement. The watch is available in four colors and is currently available for pre-order, with deliveries expected to begin at the end of October 2026.

The 40mm grade 2 titanium case measures 10.5mm thick, 48mm lug-to-lug, has a 20mm lug width, and weighs 54 grams for the case alone.
The case is treated with a hardness coating, increasing surface hardness to 900 Vickers.
The solid caseback features an engraving of a radial aeroplane engine.
The dial features broad pilot’s watch hands, printed Arabic numerals, and a printed orientation triangle synonymous with pilot’s watches.
A bevelled date window with a colour-matched date wheel is located at six o’clock.
The blacked-out hands and indices of the Desert Sand model use Grade A Super-LumiNova, while other models use Grade A BGW9 Super-LumiNova.
The seconds hand features an aeroplane counterbalance.
The Sellita SW200-2 Power+ features an improved power reserve of 65 hours, an increase from the original SW200’s 41-hour power reserve.
