Rado Integral 40-Year Anniversary Edition
Rado is celebrating the 40th anniversary of its groundbreaking Integral watch, the first to utilize high-tech ceramic. This new anniversary edition pays homage to the 1986 original with a design that seamlessly integrates the case and bracelet, featuring a blend of black high-tech ceramic and gold PVD-coated stainless steel.
- 40th anniversary edition
- First watch made from high-tech ceramic
- Unisex piece
- Quartz movement
The watch is a modern interpretation of the 1986 DiaStar Anatom, which later became known as the Integral, named for its seamless case and bracelet design.
The case measures 28mm by 38.9mm and is only 7.3mm thick, designed to be a comfortable, unisex piece.
The high-tech ceramic is noted for its scratch resistance and colorfastness, while the gold PVD coating on stainless steel elements also enhances scratch resistance.
The dial features vertical brushing, gold-tone applied baton indices, thin sword hands, and a date window positioned above the 6 o'clock marker with a gold date wheel.
The integrated bracelet consists of gold PVD coated h-links separated by solid blocks of high-tech ceramic, with thicker h-links and a taper towards the three-fold stainless steel clasp.
The quartz movement, Calibre R279 with ETA PreciDrive technology, offers an accuracy of approximately ±10 seconds per year and allows for the watch's slim profile.
A closed caseback features an engraving to signify the 40th anniversary.
