Panerai Celebrates 100 Years of Florence Boutique with Exhibition and Two New Luminor Models
Panerai is marking a century of its historic Florence boutique with an immersive exhibition in the city and the launch of two limited-edition Luminor timepieces. The exhibition explores the brand's heritage, including its military connections and maritime legacy, while the new watches pay homage to a unique prototype and the city of Florence.

The exhibition, held at the Museo Marino Marini, offers a holistic exploration of Panerai's essence, showcasing artifacts, watches, instruments, and documents.
The "Orologeria Svizzera" shop, opened in 1926, was initially not a Panerai shop but managed by Maria Panerai, while Giuseppe Panerai developed instruments and watches for the Italian Navy under military secrecy.
The new references PAM01734 and PAM01794 are inspired by the Ref. 6152/1, specifically a unique prototype with tone-on-tone "Panerai Firenze" engraving and a hand-filed crown bridge for improved grip.
The dials of the new models feature "Panerai Firenze" etching, with green for the platinum version and black for the steel version, and use a sandwich-style construction with vintage-inspired pencil hands.
Both watches utilize a classic Luminor silhouette with a powerful manually wound movement, presented in a contemporary 44mm size.
