Czapek has introduced the Promenade L’Écume des Jours, a limited edition watch inspired by Boris Vian's novel of the same name. The timepiece features a complex, layered dial incorporating blue enamel, mother-of-pearl, and jade, with a unique titanium water lily seconds hand. This artistic execution builds upon the existing Promenade collection's dress watch ethos, offering a narrative-driven design.

The dial is a multi-layered construction featuring a base of jade for the seconds sub-dial, a mother-of-pearl ring with piano key motifs, and a titanium water lily seconds hand.
The design is inspired by Boris Vian's novel "L’Écume des Jours," incorporating elements like the 'pianocktail' and the water lily.
The watch utilizes Czapek's in-house automatic Calibre SXH5.1 movement, characterized by skeletonized bridges inspired by 19th-century pocket watches.
The case is standard 38mm stainless steel with a domed sapphire crystal, consistent with the Promenade collection.
The movement features a micro-rotor made of recycled 950 platinum and a power reserve of 60 hours.
The dial's creation involves collaboration with Donzé Cadrans and MD’ART, utilizing techniques like laser ablation and miniature painting.
An alternative Milanese mesh bracelet is available in addition to the standard dark blue nubuck strap.
