Toledano & Chan Oshinobi
Toledano & Chan has created a unique Oshinobi watch for the TimeForArt auction, a benefit event supporting contemporary art. This watch features a sandblasted titanium exterior that conceals a dial set with two carats of diamonds, inspired by geodes and designed to be worn discreetly.
- One-off watch for TimeForArt auction at Phillips New York on December 5th, 2026
- Production model planned for 2027
- 21mm sandblasted Grade 5 titanium case
- Manual-winding Swiss LTM caliber
- Dial features approximately 387 natural diamonds
The watch's name, Oshinobi, is Japanese for a high-ranking person traveling incognito, reflecting its hidden diamond dial.
The exterior appears to be a brutalist, sandblasted titanium bracelet, but a small cover slides open to reveal the diamond-set dial.
The diamond setting is described as 'snow-set' and inspired by the crystalline formations found inside geodes.
The dial is concave to enhance the organic, natural phenomenon aesthetic.
The case back features a special TimeForArt engraving.
All proceeds from the auction will support modern and contemporary art.
