Sinn 103 St Sa Lufthansa
Sinn has released a limited-edition chronograph, the 103 St Sa Lufthansa, to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Lufthansa. This collaboration features a stripped-down design with colors and details inspired by the airline's branding, including yellow accents on the hands and chronograph subdials, and grey tones drawn from Lufthansa's style guide. The watch is limited to 100 pieces and includes special engravings and an airliner window-shaped opening on the chronograph seconds hand.
- Limited to 100 pieces
- Price: €2,890 (~$3,250) or 781,000 Lufthansa Miles
- Available to purchase through Lufthansa's website
- Availability estimated at the end of Week 44 (~Nov. 1)
The watch uses Lufthansa's signature yellow for the chronograph hands and subdials, and various shades of grey pulled from the airline's style guide.
Special engravings are present on the rotor, visible through a sapphire display caseback, and the chronograph seconds hand features an opening shaped like an airliner window.
This is not the first collaboration between Sinn and Lufthansa, with previous models including the Sinn 144-747.CARGO and the Sinn 857 UTS TESTAF LH Cargo.
The rotating bezel features a simple 12-hour scale without extraneous details.
The Sellita SW500 movement is automatic and includes hours, minutes, small seconds, chronograph, and date functions.
The watch is noted for its significant thickness of 17mm, though it is suggested that Sinn watches often wear better than their stated dimensions.
The connection to Lufthansa is implemented tastefully, aiming not to alienate buyers without a strong airline affiliation.
