The new DSTB Stop-Seconds models feature hacking seconds functionality, an upgrade to the existing deadbeat seconds complication.
The dial architecture isolates the deadbeat seconds mechanism, with bridges, gears, and a release mechanism visible on the dial.
The lever of the deadbeat seconds mechanism is shaped like the Arnold & Son anchor logo, referencing John Arnold's marine chronometers.
The offset subdial for hours and minutes is made of white opal and features a concave shape with printed Roman numerals that curve towards the edge.
The base metallic dials have a grained texture and are colored via PVD coating, with the red gold model in light grey and the platinum in pale gold.
The in-house A&S6303 caliber is finished with radial Côtes de Genève, anglage, blued screws, and various brushing techniques, with a guilloché decorated rotor featuring the anchor logo.
The 42mm case, combined with expansive dials and thin bezels, contributes to the watch wearing large, which is considered intentional for showcasing the jumping seconds complication.
The new models represent a small relative price increase over outgoing versions despite the addition of stop-seconds and a concave stone subdial.
