The watch pays tribute to French speed skier Simon Billy, who set a world record of 255.50km/h, with red elements matching his competition suit and the white dial evoking a snowy setting.
Red italicised numerals and red hour and minute hands, shaped like elongated competition skis, replace the Arabic numerals and metal skeletonised hands found on most other BR-05 Chronos.
The date display has been moved to the 6 o'clock position, creating a more balanced dial layout with the chronograph counters flanking the center.
The BR-CAL.326 chronograph movement is based on the Sellita SW510, which follows the Valjoux 7750 architecture, an update from earlier models that used a modular ETA 2894-2.
A red silhouette of a speed skier is visible on the sapphire caseback, a detail referencing Simon Billy's sport.
The stainless steel case features satin-finished and polished surfaces, a screw-down crown, and crown guards.
The red rubber strap option is described as sportier, while the stainless steel bracelet offers a more restrained look.
