Royter Legacy Series Nova Edition
Brooklyn-based independent watchmaker Dan Royter has launched the Legacy Series Nova Edition, marking a significant departure from his previous work with a focus on high-end finishing and a bespoke movement. This new direction combines a hand-engraved, burgundy lacquered silver dial with a movement developed with Andreas Strehler, presented in a mid-sized steel case.

The dial features a hand-engraved starburst effect on a silver plate, sealed with 13 layers of burgundy lacquer, a process that takes approximately 20 hours.
Roman numerals are created on a separate frosted and gilded silver disk, with the numerals revealed by engraving to contrast with the gold.
Arrow hands are manually chamfered using hand files and peg wood, with a mirror-polished center cap.
The case construction utilizes separate lugs mounted to the case, similar to Lange watch cases.
The manual-wind Cal. BNR-01 movement is a bespoke design based on UhrTeil's automatic calibre, featuring a free-sprung balance and indirect sweep seconds.
Final decoration, assembly, and adjustment of the movement are performed in Brooklyn.
The movement's decoration includes sharp interior angles fashioned by hand-files and polished with wood and abrasive.
