Hermès Cape Cod Titanium
Hermès has introduced a new titanium version of its 35-year-old Cape Cod collection, marking the first time the model features this material and a more masculine aesthetic. The watch retains the signature "square within a rectangle" design inspired by anchor chains but adopts a flatter profile with satin-finished and bead-blasted surfaces for a rugged character.
- 33mm width
- 100m water resistance
- 45-hour power reserve
- Price: US$7,900 / £6,340
The case features a satin-finished top and bead-blasted sides, offering a more technical and brutalist aesthetic compared to previous polished steel or gold models.
The dial has a Charmilles-textured finish with a vertically brushed black outer ring for the applied Arabic numerals, which echo the shape of the lugs.
An orange central seconds hand provides a pop of color against the dial, and Super-LumiNova is applied to the hour markers and hands for legibility.
The date window at 6 o'clock features a black date wheel and numerals that match the hour markers.
The watch is available with quick-release rubber straps in Black, Bleu Abysse, Jaune de Naples, and Orange.
The Vaucher H1912 caliber is an automatic movement with manual winding, hacking seconds, a frequency of 28,800 vph, and 28 jewels.
