The Quantième Annuel is Berneron's first complicated watch, featuring a rigidly symmetrical design and an instantaneous annual calendar mechanism.
The watch incorporates an unusual multi-part case with replaceable steel bumpers designed to absorb everyday wear.
The design emphasizes legibility with a regulator-style display, including oversized jumping hours at 12 o'clock, a central minute hand, and a day/night indicator at six o'clock.
The date is displayed with a jumping weekday indicator at nine o'clock, a retrograde date pointer co-axial with the minute hand, and a month window at three o'clock.
Each jump of the discs is powered by its own individual tension spring to ensure reliable operation without compromising amplitude.
The time and date are set via the crown, while the day and month discs can be advanced with discreetly integrated pushers on the case band.
The movement, Cal. 595, is constructed from gold and has 476 components.
The 38mm case is described as reasonably small and quite slim at 10mm, conveying a feeling of density due to its platinum construction.
