Awake Sơn Mài Frosted Leaf Royal Blue
Awake has introduced the Sơn Mài Frosted Leaf Royal Blue, a limited edition watch featuring a dial crafted with Vietnamese lacquer and 24-karat gold leaf, a first for the brand and Swiss watchmaking. This new model also debuts a slimmer, redesigned 38mm stainless steel case and an increased water resistance of 100 meters.

The dial is constructed with alternating layers of natural lacquer, blue pigment, and pure gold leaf, hand-sanded over approximately 15 hours, ensuring each dial is unique.
The new case design measures 38mm in diameter, 44.75mm lug-to-lug, and 11.5mm in thickness, featuring a stepped profile and more pronounced lugs with a mid-20th-century aesthetic.
The La Joux-Perret G101 movement is fitted with a custom tungsten rotor featuring brushed, polished, and micro-blasted finishes, visible through the sapphire caseback.
The blue Alcantara strap from Jean Rousseau includes a new micro-adjustable pin buckle allowing for 3mm increments of adjustment.
The dial features the brand's new handwritten script logo, a departure from previous designs and a tribute to the artisans.
The screw-down crown increases water resistance to 100 meters, a significant enhancement for a dress watch genre.
