Louis Vuitton Tambour Convergence Mirror Steel
Louis Vuitton has introduced a new stainless steel version of its compact Tambour Convergence watch, featuring a hand-polished mirror finish and a hardened steel case with a surface hardness of 1130 Vickers. This model continues the "montre à guichet" complication with two dragging discs for hours and minutes behind an arched window.
- 37mm diameter x 8mm thickness case
- 45-hour power reserve
- 30m water resistance
- Price: EUR 26,000
The case is crafted from a special steel alloy with a hardened surface reaching 1130 Vickers, significantly harder than traditional 316L steel.
The hand-mirror-polished case requires approximately three times more work than on gold versions.
The lugs have a polished outer surface and a micro-blasted inner surface for added contrast.
The brass discs for hours and minutes are satin-finished and galvanically rhodium-treated, with black printed tracks and numerals for a monochromatic look.
The in-house calibre LFT MA01.01 features sandblasted bridges with micro-sandblasted edges, perlage on the mainplate, polished bevels, an LV motif on the rotor, and colourless jewels.
The watch is presented on a grey Saffiano leather strap with a hardened steel pin buckle.
The Tambour Convergence Mirror Steel is part of the permanent collection.
