Zelos Helmsman Diver New Dial Configurations
The Zelos Helmsman Diver, originally the brand's first Kickstarter design, has been updated with five new dial options in a stainless steel case. These new configurations offer a diverse range of materials and aesthetics, from crushed garnet and mother-of-pearl to aventurine glass and forged carbon, aiming to give the watch varied identities.
- 316L stainless-steel case
- 40mm case diameter
- 46.5mm lug-to-lug
- 12.5mm thickness (11.5mm case)
- 200 metres water resistance
- Miyota 9015 automatic movement
- 42 hours power reserve
- 20mm lug width
The Helmsman Diver's original brief was to create a diver with a dressier character, a design philosophy that remains evident.
The five new dial materials include Aventurine, Sky Blue (fully luminous), Carbon (forged carbon), Garnet (crushed stone), and Teal MOP (mother-of-pearl).
The case features a mix of brushed, polished, and sandblasted finishes, with machined recesses on the flanks to reduce visual mass.
Dual crowns are present: the upper controls the internal rotating dive bezel, and the lower controls the movement; both feature luminous inserts.
The Garnet dial is made from crushed red garnet, resulting in an irregular surface with varying shades of burgundy and ruby red.
The Teal MOP dial has a fumé treatment and a CNC-machined wave guilloché pattern, with a black mother-of-pearl internal bezel.
The Miyota 9015 movement is 3.9mm thick, contributing to the watch's slim profile and supporting the 200-meter water resistance.
A custom date wheel is fitted to match each dial design, enhancing cohesion on models like the Garnet and Teal MOP.
