Mido has introduced the Multifort TV Big Date Chronometer, an evolution of its distinctive TV-shaped case design. This new model features a COSC-certified automatic movement, refined dial elements, and retains the signature Big Date complication at 12 o'clock. The watch aims to offer a technical upgrade while maintaining the unique aesthetic that made the original popular.
- COSC-certified automatic movement
- 80-hour power reserve
- 100-meter water resistance
- Price: €1,550
The TV-shaped case, inspired by vintage television screens, measures 40mm x 39.2mm with a lug-to-lug of 46.85mm and a thickness of 11.5mm, featuring a mix of brushed and polished finishes.
The dial options include sunray-brushed blue and dark grey, both featuring a new rectangular checkerboard pattern, redesigned applied polished hour markers, and diamond-cut faceted hands with Super-LumiNova.
The Big Date complication at 12 o'clock is now framed by a raised border for enhanced definition.
The exhibition caseback showcases the automatic movement, decorated with blued screws and Côtes de Genève on the rotor.
The COSC certification requires a mean daily rate of -4 to +6 seconds, and the movement includes a Nivachron balance spring for improved magnetic field resistance.
The watch is fitted with a three-link stainless steel bracelet with brushed outer links and polished center links, secured by a folding clasp with push buttons, and features quick-release spring bars.
