Xeric and Worn & Wound have collaborated on two limited edition Sector watches, "Night Vision" and "Highlighter," featuring a double-retrograde display and a retro, arcade-inspired aesthetic. These compact, affordable timepieces utilize a custom module with a Miyota quartz movement to achieve their unique time-telling complication.
- Limited to 300 pieces per colorway
- Price: $299 each
- Shipping begins October for the first 150 pieces of each colorway
The collaboration features two colorways: "Night Vision" with green tones on a black grid, and "Highlighter" with bright blue, pink, orange, and green against a black grid.
The watches draw inspiration from arcade cabinets and classic video games, with controls placed on the face resembling arcade buttons and a dial layout reminiscent of games like Galaga.
The double-retrograde display shows hours and minutes across a 120-degree arc, with hands jumping back to the start when reaching the end of their respective arcs.
The dial design incorporates sector dial inspiration, with larger, bolder even numerals boxed and curved, and a floating minute track.
The "Night Vision" version features three shades of green for the dial elements and a darker green rubber strap, with hands glowing white-blue.
The "Highlighter" version has a PVD black case and black rubber strap, with dial colors designed to resemble a Light Cycle dashboard in the dark.
The compact size (36mm x 37mm, 10.25mm height) and unusual case shape are noted as key elements of the watch's charm.
