Montblanc Star Legacy Nicolas Rieussec Chronograph Limited Edition 100
Montblanc has introduced a new 100-piece limited edition of its Star Legacy Nicolas Rieussec Chronograph, crafted in rose gold. This high-end timepiece features luminescent inscriptions on the dial that replicate archival documents and historical references related to Nicolas Rieussec's original 1821 inking chronograph.

The dial inscriptions in luminescent paint replicate handwritten sections of the Academy of Sciences’ approval document, the Academy’s silhouette, a blueprint of the ink hand, and Rieussec’s signature.
The time is indicated by a white chapter ring with black Roman numerals and a railway-style minutes track, with rose gold-coated leaf hands.
Two rotating, domed chronograph sub-dials (60-second and 30-minute) are intersected by a blued steel bridge acting as a pointer, recreating the layout of Rieussec’s historic device.
The watch includes a dual-time function with a skeletonised GMT hand, adjustable in one-hour increments, and a day/night aperture at 9 o’clock.
A date window at 6 o’clock is set within a bevelled rose-gold-coloured frame with two polished screws.
The rose gold case features a pebble-shaped profile, a fluted onion crown with the Montblanc star logo at 3 o’clock, and a monopusher at 8 o’clock for chronograph functions.
The in-house calibre MB R200 is an automatic integrated chronograph movement with a column wheel and vertical clutch, equipped with twin barrels.
The openworked rotor is decorated with a grain d’orge engraving and the profile of the Montblanc star.
