Andersen Genève Communication 45 Platinum
Andersen Genève has released a new platinum version of its Communication 45 world timer, following last year's yellow gold anniversary model. This iteration features a 38mm platinum case and a BlueGold dial with a historic wave-form tapisserie-guilloché pattern, available with map variations for Asia, Europe, or America.

The case, made by Marco Poluzzi without CNC machinery, features soldered lugs with a mix of teardrop and cow-horn design elements.
The dial is crafted from 21ct BlueGold with Andersen Genève’s historic wave-form tapisserie-guilloché pattern, and the map is created using liquid lacquer of unalloyed gold.
The movement utilizes a vintage A. Schild S.A. automatic base, restored and re-decorated, fitted with Andersen Genève’s ultra-thin worldtime module.
The rotor is made of light blue-toned BlueGold and features the same tapisserie guilloché pattern as the dial.
The watch is presented on a dark blue suede strap and includes a platinum pin buckle.
The design is a nod to early models and classic Louis Cottier worldtimers, featuring a two-crown "Cottier-style" architecture.
