The brief
The Horological Society of New York (HSNY) is expanding its educational offerings by hosting classes in Boston and Los Angeles in November 2026. These weekend half-day classes, led by professional watchmakers, will cover the fundamentals of mechanical watch movements, including the gear train, winding, setting mechanisms, and escapement. The Boston classes will be hosted by Shreve, Crump & Low, while the Los Angeles sessions will be hosted by F.P.Journe.
