The Grand Seiko Masterpiece Collection “Hisen” SBGZ011 features a platinum 950 case with a hand-engraved waterfall motif, a technique that makes each of the 50 limited edition pieces unique. It is powered by the Spring Drive Caliber 9R02, an upgraded movement with a dual spring barrel and a torque return system, offering an 84-hour power reserve.

The case and platinum dial are hand-engraved with a rotary tool, making each of the 50 watches unique.
The engraved case design is reminiscent of vintage Seiko models like the Quartz VFA ref. 3823-7030 and 3820-6000.
The Spring Drive Caliber 9R02 features a dual spring barrel and a torque return system, an upgrade from the Cal. 7R14 in the Credor Eichi II.
The movement's barrel is worked in the shape of a lotus and sits slightly proud of the bridges.
The indices and hour/minute hands are made from gold, while the sweep seconds and power reserve hands are thermally blued steel.
