The new Compax is the first chronograph in Universal Genève's history to be powered by a micro-rotor movement, specifically a three-quarter rotor caliber.
The case size of 39.5 mm is noted as one of the few modern chronographs to remain under 40 mm.
The "panda" dial variant is paired with a bund leather strap, referencing Nina Rindt's iconic styling.
Steel models feature a five-link bracelet inspired by historical Gay Frères designs.
The movement, UG-200, is a fully integrated vertical-clutch chronograph with a three-quarter rotor and offers an unobstructed view of the column wheel.
The bridge design of the UG-200 movement recalls the finger bridges found on vintage pocket watches and early wristwatches.
The Compax Capsule collection introduces more playful colorways like Dry Lavender, Brushed Indigo, and Sage Green with textured lacquer dials.
