Second Hour Gin Clear Mk3
The Second Hour Gin Clear Mk3 is the third iteration of the brand's purpose-built dive watch, featuring refinements over its predecessors. It maintains a wearable 40mm case size and 200m water resistance, now powered by a Sellita SW-200 movement and boasting enhanced case finishing and new color options.
- 200m water resistance
- BWG9 Superluminova
- 1200 Vickers surface hardening
- Six layers of AR coating
- 40mm case diameter
- 12.2mm thickness
- 47mm lug to lug
- Sellita SW-200 movement
The Mk3 features BWG9 Superluminova on the hands, bezel, and dial, and carries over 1200 Vickers surface hardening on the case and bracelet from the Mk2.
The movement has been updated from an ETA 2824 to a Sellita SW-200, which performed reliably.
New color options for the Mk3 include Emerald and Dark Rhodium, replacing the Mk2's orange and light blue, while Sunburst Black and Arctic White remain.
The hands have been updated to diamond-cut baton hands, and the seconds hand no longer features a logo'd counterweight.
The case finishing has been refined, with a smoother transition from the lugs to the crown guards compared to the Mk2.
The five-row bracelet offers zero play and flows smoothly, with a polished undercut chamfer on the lugs matching the bracelet.
The crown is slightly larger with increased knurling for better grip.
The case back features an embossed sea turtle.
