The Orient Star Sakigake Three Hand marks the brand's 75th anniversary with a new design language that moves away from traditional Orient Star signatures like the power reserve indicator and date window. This collection prioritizes everyday wearability and a premium feel, featuring a clean dial with applied indexes and a radial sunburst pattern. The watch is powered by the new in-house automatic caliber F7542.

The Sakigake collection abandons the power reserve indicator and date window, which have been long-standing design signatures for Orient Star since 1996.
The dial features petal-shaped applied indexes with faceted edges and ribbed surfaces, and a wedge-shaped marker at 12 o'clock for orientation.
Neither the indexes nor the hands feature luminous material, which the reviewer notes as a missed opportunity for a watch intended for everyday use.
The hands have a distinctive cut-out design, and the seconds hand extends to the minute track on the raised rehaut.
The lugs have contrasting polished outer surfaces and hairline-brushed inner sections, designed to evoke comet tails.
