The Photon's dial design is inspired by the double-slit experiment, featuring two overlapping sets of dial elements that create an interference fringe effect, with the Citizen logo and Eco-Drive label printed on the underside of the sapphire crystal to appear
The case and bracelet are made from Super Titanium Duratect, a material Citizen has been working with for 50 years, offering a lightweight and durable construction with a combination of brushed and polished finishes.
The movement, caliber E036, is the latest generation of Eco-Drive, offering an accuracy of ±15 seconds per month and a power reserve of approximately 365 days in complete darkness.
The watch case has an octagonal base shape with smoothly curved sides, and the bezel shares this aesthetic, contributing to a pleasingly smooth overall form.
The bracelet's H-shaped links are designed to curve in multiple dimensions, providing flexibility and comfort, though the reviewer notes it might be less pliable on smaller wrists.
The hands are described as large and thick, javelin-like, with a slender yellow center seconds hand, all coated with SuperLuminova for a green glow.
The case back is closed and engraved with the 50th Anniversary logo and the limited edition number.
