Formex has updated its best-selling Essence Automatic COSC 39mm with several technical and ergonomic improvements while maintaining the original case design. Key upgrades include a new Sellita SW200-2 Power+ COSC movement with an extended 65-hour power reserve, a screw-down crown for enhanced water and dirt protection, and a redesigned bracelet clasp offering tool-free micro-adjustment.

The case design and proportions remain unchanged, retaining the patented Case Suspension System.
The new Sellita SW200-2 Power+ movement increases the power reserve from 38 hours to 65 hours and offers improved winding efficiency and shock resistance.
The bracelet clasp features a patented on-the-fly Micro-Adjustment System allowing for 3mm to 6mm of adjustment directly on the wrist.
The Alpine White dial features contrasting blued hands and applied indexes, while the Radiant Bronze dial is a new addition to the Essence line.
The screw-down crown is integrated into the suspension system without altering the case profile.
The dial features individually CNC-milled horizontal grooves and applied indexes filled with Super-LumiNova BGW9.
The updated model is available on various strap options including nylon, leather, and rubber, all featuring a carbon-fibre deployant clasp with a similar micro-adjustment system.
The price represents an increase of approximately £145 for strap options and £130 for the bracelet compared to the previous collection.
