IWC Ingenieur Automatic 35 "Pool"
IWC Schaffhausen has introduced a new "Pool" dial colorway for its 35mm Ingenieur Automatic 35 model, expanding the compact integrated-bracelet collection. This release, coinciding with the 50th anniversary of the original Gerald Genta-designed Ingenieur SL, offers an aquatic-themed aesthetic for summer.
- 35mm stainless steel case
- 100m water resistance
- Calibre 47110 automatic movement
- 42-hour power reserve
- Price: £8,900 / CHF 10,500 / SGD 14,500
The "Pool" dial is a light shade of turquoise, described as conjuring images of a shimmering lido or a mosaic tiled indoor pool.
The 35mm size is noted as being particularly small for an integrated bracelet sports watch, favoring those with slimmer wrists.
The movement, calibre 47110, features automatic winding, Côtes de Genève finishing, and a golden rotor, visible through a sapphire caseback.
The Ingenieur is characterized as IWC's tool watch for engineers, featuring a strong anti-magnetic case.
The modern Ingenieur collection was revived in 2023 with the 40mm model, followed by the downsized 35mm Automatic 35.
The watch features the signature Grid pattern across the dial.
