Nomos Tetra 27 White and Tetra 27 Duo
Nomos Glashütte has expanded its compact Tetra collection with two new 27.5mm square-cased models: the Tetra 27 White and the Tetra 27 Duo. Both feature the in-house hand-wound Calibre DUW 4001 movement and are designed to offer significant wrist presence despite their small dimensions, catering to the trend for smaller watches.
- 27.5mm x 27.5mm case size
- 6.1mm thickness
- 50m water resistance
- 53-hour power reserve
- EUR 1,660 - EUR 2,120 price range
The Tetra 27 White features a silver-plated dial with a small seconds sub-dial and blued steel hands, while the Tetra 27 Duo is a two-hand model with a two-tone dial featuring a light grey square center and matching grey minute track.
The square case geometry means a 27.5mm watch wears larger than a round watch of the same width, presenting closer to a 33mm round watch.
The Calibre DUW 4001 is an evolution of the Alpha movement, itself based on the Peseux 7001, featuring a three-quarter plate, Glashütte ribbing, perlage, blued screws, and the Nomos Swing System with a blue balance spring.
The Tetra 27 features double-stepped lugs, contributing to an Art Deco aesthetic.
The Tetra 27 White includes a stop-seconds function for precise time setting, whereas the Duo model does not.
Both models are offered with a choice of a solid steel case back or a sapphire crystal case back.
The Tetra 27 Duo's two-tone dial creates an optical depth despite the dial being flat.
