The brief

Hublot revisits its 1980 origins with the Classic Fusion Tributo, a collection that pays homage to the brand's founder Carlo Crocco's original vision of a gold watch on a rubber strap. The new models incorporate the founder's initials, MDM, which now also represent his philanthropic foundation, Main Dans la Main.

The yellow gold model features a matte black dial and gold hands, echoing the 1980 original, while the white gold version has a polished black onyx dial and black-plated titanium bezel screws.

The initials MDM on the dial signify both Carlo Crocco's wife, Marie-Danielle, and his Main Dans la Main Foundation, adding a personal and philanthropic layer to the design.
