Singer Reimagined has introduced the Heritage V72, a chronograph featuring a restored new-old-stock Valjoux 72 movement. The brand has meticulously restored and enhanced the movement using traditional haute horlogerie techniques, aiming to give the iconic calibre a "second life worthy of its time in place."

The Valjoux 72 movement, a revered manual-winding column-wheel chronograph calibre, debuted in 1938 and was produced until 1974, powering chronographs from brands like Rolex, Breitling, and Heuer.

Singer's restoration of the Valjoux 72 includes frosting bridges, hand-polishing chamfers and screws, rhodium-plating steel parts, and applying a blue ALD treatment to the switch component.

The Heritage V72 case measures 38.8mm with a thickness of 13.25mm, featuring vintage piston-style pushers, glassbox sapphire crystals front and back, and a flat, fluted crown.

The steel model features a matte stone-grey dial with champagne-coloured sub-dials, while the gold model has a velvety matte black dial, both with applied golden faceted hour markers and openworked sword-shaped hands with orange luminescent inserts.
