Louis Moinet has introduced the Moon Meteor, a new timepiece that combines miniature painting, genuine meteorite fragments, and an astronomical moon phase display. This watch continues the brand's tradition of space-themed creations, featuring a celestial landscape that glows in the dark and incorporates multiple types of meteorites, including Martian and lunar varieties.

The 40.7mm case is crafted from grade 5 titanium with polished and satin finishes, featuring openworked lugs and a large fluted crown, weighing 18 grams despite its 17.92mm height.
The dial features a hand-painted miniature celestial landscape using fine brushes and lacquer, with luminescent material for a glow-in-the-dark effect, and includes fragments of Martian meteorite (NWA 13925), Jbilet Winselwan, and Sahara 97093.
The flange is made from Muonionalusta meteorite, showcasing its Widmanstätten pattern, while the central domed lunar disc has engraved and hand-painted craters, with two lunar meteorites (Gadamis 005 and Dhofar 457) representing the full and new moons.
A hand-painted astronaut figure serves as the indicator for the lunar phase, which is designed to be accurate to within one day every 122 years.
The self-winding LM113 movement, developed with Concepto, operates at 28,800 vibrations/hour and measures 30.4mm in diameter and 12.7mm thick.
The watch is fitted with a Louisiana alligator strap with alligator lining, secured by a triple-folding clasp with fine adjustment.
