Shinola Detrola "Color Theory" Models
Shinola has introduced two new vibrant models to its Detrola collection, the "Color Theory" watches, inspired by midcentury American art. These watches feature bold color palettes and triangle motifs, aiming to bring artistic expression to the wrist at an accessible price point.
- Price: $495
The "Warm" model features blue, green, yellow, and orange colors, while the "Cool" version has pink, blue, and red.
Both models have a polished cream TR90 resin case co-molded with a stainless steel core.
The dial design incorporates a triangle motif reminiscent of patterns from the 1960s and 1970s.
The watches feature a date window at 3 o'clock and squared-off hour and minute hands coated with C1 lume.
An orange rubber strap is offered on the "Warm" model, and a blue strap on the "Cool" version.
The outer minute track is mint green on both models, with matching green seconds hands.
The watches are powered by an Argonite 705 quartz movement for reliable timekeeping.
