Christopher Ward Trident 30x30
Christopher Ward has released the Trident 30x30, a 41mm dive watch created in collaboration with the Blue Marine Foundation. This marks the fourth partnership between the two entities, with a portion of each sale directly funding ocean conservation efforts. The watch features a parrotfish-inspired blue wave dial and is powered by the new Sellita SW200-2 Power+ automatic movement.
- Limited to 500 pieces worldwide
- £30 from every watch sold donated to Blue Marine Foundation
- Price: €1,175/US$1,250/£895 (rubber strap), €1,385/US$1,475/£1,060 (bracelet)
The dial features a custom-stamped wave pattern in matte parrotfish blue, inspired by the parrotfish species and designed to mimic ocean currents.
Contrast elements include a coral-coloured central seconds hand and diamond-polished hands and markers filled with Grade X1 Super-LumiNova.
The Trident Reef case has a four-part construction, combining a stainless-steel inner core with a matte-aluminium outer section and a unidirectional bezel in parrotfish blue.
The solid screw-down caseback is stamped with 'Blue Marine Foundation' and '30x30' markings.
The Sellita SW200-2 Power+ movement has a frequency of 28,800 vph, a daily timing tolerance of -5 to +12 seconds, and an Elaboré finish with a 'Colimaçoné' pattern on the rotor.
The watch is presented in eco-friendly packaging made from recycled bamboo and seaweed by-products.
