A. Lange & Söhne's flagship launch for the year is the Lange 1 Tourbillon Perpetual Calendar “Lumen”, applying the brand's signature "Lumen" treatment to a highly complicated model. This iteration features a reworked movement for improved visual impact of the tourbillon and a more intricate dial construction to accommodate the calendar display on a tinted sapphire disc, with luminous elements that glow in the dark.

The "Lumen" treatment involves a tinted sapphire dial with luminous elements that glow in the dark, applied under the hour markers for a cleaner outline effect.
The movement (calibre L255.1) has been re-engineered from the L082.1 to improve the visibility of the tourbillon by repositioning the going train and trimming the barrel bridge for a more sculptural tourbillon cock.
The calendar indicators are integrated into the Lange 1's distinctive layout, with the month indicator forming the outermost functional ring of the dial.
The watch features a double function moon phase display, replacing the separate day-night display found in the regular production model.
The platinum case is heavier and nearly 1mm taller than the regular production white gold model, partly due to the thicker Lumen dial and the addition of the moon phase.
The crown position is noted to move further downwards towards the case back due to the increased thickness, appearing off-center.
