Campanola Kōjō
Campanola, Citizen's astronomical sub-brand, has released two limited edition Eco-Drive watches, the Kōjō, inspired by starlight. These watches feature complex solar-powered movements and a distinctive dial construction, marking a return to the brand's roots in complicated quartz timekeeping.

- Limited to 170 pieces (black DLC)
- Price: JPY385,000 (blue dial)
- Price: JPY396,000 (black DLC)

- 14.8 mm case height

The Kōjō features electro-formed blue and black dials inspired by "radiant streaks of light that appear when gazing at stars in the night sky."
A radial mother-of-pearl disc surrounds the moon phase display, contributing to the celestial theme.
The dial construction includes a quartet of pillars supporting the minute track, allowing light to reach concealed solar cells.
The solar cells are charged through a gap between the dial and chapter ring, a technique debuted by Citizen in 2012.
The triple calendar complication includes a moon phase display, with all functions set via the crown and a single pusher.
The stainless steel version (BU0020-71N) comes on a bracelet, while the black DLC coated version (BU0024-02N) is on a crocodile leather strap.
The black DLC coating offers scratch resistance but can make damage more visible.
