Longines Conquest Heritage Central Power Reserve (Light Blue Dial)
Longines has updated its Conquest Heritage Central Power Reserve with a new light blue opaline dial, available on either a dark gray leather strap or a three-link steel bracelet. This iteration celebrates the 70th anniversary of the Conquest collection and revisits the innovative central power reserve indicator first introduced in 1959.
- Price: €4,450 (bracelet) / €4,250 (strap)
- 38mm stainless steel case
- Longines L896.5 automatic movement
- 72-hour power reserve
- 50m water resistance
The watch features a central power reserve indicator using two rotating discs, a system first seen on a Longines Conquest ref. 9028 in 1959.
The movement, caliber L896.5, is an ETA-produced automatic exclusive to Longines, beating at 25,200 vph and featuring a silicon balance spring.
The light blue opaline dial is complemented by a color-matched date disk within a trapezoid-shaped window, echoing classical design cues.
Traditional details include applied, faceted indices and a box-shaped sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, contributing to a 1950s aesthetic.
The steel bracelet version, ref. L1.648.4.92.6, is preferred for its homogeneous look, featuring polished and brushed finishes, a double-folding safety clasp, and a micro-adjustment system.
The strap version, ref. L1.648.4.92.2, comes with a dark gray alligator strap and a heritage pin buckle.
