Seiko has collaborated with Tokyo-based Tradman's Bonsai, a collective focused on reinterpreting bonsai art for a contemporary audience, to create a new limited edition Presage Classic Series watch. The HCC009J1 draws inspiration from the serene beauty of a Japanese black pine bonsai tree illuminated by moonlight, translating this into its design through color, texture, and details.

The dial's deep green color, 'matsuba-iro', is a traditional Japanese hue symbolizing longevity and good fortune, inspired by pine needles.
An embossed pattern echoing pine bark is subtly integrated into the dial, becoming more apparent when catching the light.
The watch features gold bar indexes and elegantly curved hands, contributing to a dressier aesthetic.
The 38mm, gold-plated steel case has a slim, coin-edge bezel, and the watch is paired with a 7-link, jubilee-style bracelet.
An additional embossed strap with a three-pronged pine pattern is included.
The Seiko 6R51 automatic movement offers a 72-hour power reserve and accuracy of +25/-15 seconds per day.
The gold PVD case has a fluted bezel and an oversized, partly recessed crown for easy operation.
